A question

Would you rather be with someone who shared all of your vices, but had completely different strengths, or shared all of your strengths, but none of your vices?

I think if I was not looking for a serious relationship, I'd have a lot of fun with the former. In fact, I have had a lot of fun with people who were the former. OTOH, if I'm looking for a serious, long hual relationship, it's only going to work with the latter. To give an example: the former wil argue with me because it's fun, but we'll never make any progress, and end up fucking to change the subject (in an ideal world) or sore at each other(more likely). The latter would be able to respond intellegently, and give as good as she got, but probably wouldn't put up with my shit, so we could actually have a productive conversation.
