20!

Today, I am no longer a teenager. Other than that, this birthday honestly doesn't mean much. 19 and 20 are really just kinda waiting for 21. Oh well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

:-/

*sigh*
For a long time, I've made a conscious (and successful) effort to stay out of the very situation I'm in now. And for good reason. Yet here I am. As much as I'd like to, I know I can't just walk away from it.
:-/
No, you're not meant to understand any of this.

Idiot Box

So, it's 3 in the morninig and there's nothing on TV. Somehow, I ended up watching Fox News. Bad Idea. Every single segment consisted of one of two things : the conservative guest and the "fair and balanced" host ganging up on the sacraficial la- I mean the guest for the other side of the issue, or the host simply arguing by themselves aganst the person they are supposed to be interviewing on a subject (with such impartial questions as "why do you hate america?"). The best though, was watching Santa Clause himself talk about how Howard Dean and John Kerry were essentally on his bad list. Ug. It's bed time.

Winter Wonderland?

Practically overnight, the temperature here dropped from the low 80s to the low 30s. It quickly went from t-shirt weather, to hoodie weather, to oh-my-god-I-can't-feel-my-toes weather. There is ice on everything, it is the most ice I've seen since i lived In D.C. Yay for playing in the ice!

Almost over

I'm writing this post from my last class of this semester. In a mere 20 min, I will be done with everything but a couple of finals. This would be reason for celebration, except that I'm going to be doing alot of studying and worrying about finals for the next couple of weeks. I didn't realise quite how tought it's going to be to pull it out in math class. At this point, I just need to study alot and hope for a nice curve.

In brighter news, I know I've got a B in SOCI, and Pass in Handball. CompSci and Engineering are up in the air, Hopefully (probably) Bs, definitely at least Cs. We'll see. For now, class is over, and I'm off to dorm dinner. I'll never have to listen to another math lesson in this particular mixture of Turkish and English again.

Finals :-/

So, today I actually start studying for finals. Yay? I don't really know. Oh well.

Last night, we were leaving the parking garage at about 1:00 (we had missed the last showing of Aeon Flux by about 30 min.) and DJ had a revalation, one so powerful that he just sat down, right where he was. He realised that we really have nothing to show for this semester. By this time last year they had a whole DVD worth of good times, whereas this year... well, there was one party, and we threw a fish in fish pond. Once.
All of this wasn't really news to me, I've been complaining for a while that noone seems to be around this semester. Oh well. We'll make up for it Next Semester (and this last week).

I wonder if this is what Dilbert feels like...

So, here I sit in my engineering class. It is, by far, the most disorganised class I've taken ever. The Proffessors (there's two), while they seem to know engineering (more or less), don't know how to teach. No one listens to them, and noone really learns much from the lecture. The only saving grace is that the class is in a computer lab, so I get to check my e-mail, play games, and post to my blog. Oh well. To flash games I go...
